At RFA Hudson, we take great pride in emphasizing clear communication, diligent project management and quality construction.
After 20 years in business, we have established ourselves time and again as an experienced construction manager with a seasoned team of professionals who have provided services for some of New York City’s best-known institutions. Whether it be preconstruction planning, lump sum bidding or project management, RFA Hudson consistently provides exceptional value to all projects by simply expediting the successful completion of any project, while maintaining the project intent of both the client and the design team.
Richard Aguggia started his career on the drawing board, working in an Architect’s office running as both a draftsman and an assistant project manager. During those first years, he worked on projects consisting of major law firms and corporate offices. He became passionate about quality design and sound construction. In 1993, he began a career in property management, working for Helmsley Spear at The Empire State Building. From there, he moved to another landmark property, Rockefeller Center, where he was involved in major tenant renovations and capital projects for Tishman Speyer Properties. Upon Tishman Speyer’s purchase of both the Chrysler Building and 666 Third Avenue, Richard became part of the initial team that successfully redeveloped the properties into The Chrysler Center.
In 1999, Richard formed RFA Consulting Group and has since provided project management services for various types of projects, including both interior projects and ground-up buildings, where he established an excellent reputation for working closely with owners and architects to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget. Throughout the years, RFA Hudson has worked on such notable projects as 1749 First Avenue, 48 Laight Street and the NYU Dormitory on Bowery Street.
Today, RFA Hudson continues to work on major projects providing preconstruction, construction management and general contracting services for various buildings in the New York City area.
